On April 12, a special experience awaits us in Gela. An evening where food, music, and wine come together in perfect harmony. MENU XI is a culinary journey inspired by the richness of nature and the love for exceptional cuisine, reimagined through a contemporary lens.
Our guest chef for the evening is Ivana Gelova, a Senior Chef de Partie with extensive experience in Michelin-starred restaurants. After years at ION HARBOUR, Simon Rogan’s two-star restaurant in Malta, and working with the team at the three-star L’Enclume in the UK, she has developed a deep understanding of sustainable gastronomy and working with seasonal ingredients. Inspired by Bulgarian flavors, Ivana presents them in a modern way and preserve their authenticity.
The evening’s menu will take us through carefully crafted pairings, starting with sourdough bread made from sweet purple potatoes and honey-caramelized patatnik, moving through wild trout with nettle emulsion, wild mushroom consommé, and reconstructed Rhodope beans, followed by kid goat with a buttery sauce, and concluding with a dessert of Brunza ice cream with candied jamón.
The musical atmosphere will be curated by Plamenna Flamme – an artist who seamlessly blends organic house with golden hits from the ‘80s and ‘90s. Inspired by the beauty of life, she creates sets that flow between contemporary sounds and nostalgic classics. But this time, she’s bringing the true party energy. The night won’t end with the last dish – we’ll keep going with rhythm, dance, and high spirits until dawn. And the best part? When we’ve had our fill, we can simply retreat to our rooms and fall asleep under the stars, wrapped in the magic of the night.
The dinner will be complemented by a selection of fine wines, chosen to enhance the flavors of each dish and bring even more pleasure to the experience. With deep respect for tradition and wine culture, BNK Wines will present a curated selection of prestigious regional wines from France and Italy, chosen not just for their taste, but for the stories, philosophy, and values behind the wineries that produce them. Each glass will be an invitation to a sensory journey – shared and unforgettable.
And the next morning, the experience continues. On April 13, we’ll gather again for a brunch, prepared with love by friends from Vienna, London, and Zug, who share a passion for cooking and culinary delights.
A night where past and present, tradition and innovation meet – right where the mountains touch the sky.
