During the last hours of the old year, the hotel “Gela” turned into an oasis of unique emotions, culinary highs and countless smiles.
Guests welcomed 2024 in a cozy atmosphere and enjoyed a rich author’s menu designed to awaken all the senses, to charm and to be remembered for a long time.
Thank you to the magnificent tandem – chefs Ivaylo Dimitrov, Zhivko Dimitrov, Lyubomir Zlatkov and Rostislav Nenov – you guys turned every dish into a true masterpiece!

To the gentle sounds of the piano, the journey to the new year began and our dinner, which included earth apple soup and poached egg. The root vegetable salad captivated us with its freshness, while the quail roulade with foie gras stuffing surprised our taste buds.
Well, that was just the beginning. We continued with tender roast beef, roast pork, venison with demiglace sauce and porcini mushrooms, Sinegrida fish and… celery steak. A potato gratin and vegetable ratatouille stood out as side dishes. A mix of fine cheeses and dry appetizers complemented the drinks all night.
The dessert? The most delicious pumpkin parfait, cinnamon ice cream with crunchy vanilla chips and chocolate sauce completed the treat. Of course, we also had a fortune cookie.
We prepared a special program and the magic of the Bulgarian bagpipe and authentic folk music was part of it.
We sent off 2023 and welcomed 2024 with hugs, new dreams and silent promises, we created precious friendships, we gave each other a special holiday.
