This July, Gela once again opens its doors for an unforgettable culinary experience. The thirteenth edition of The MENU invites you into a world of flavors inspired by nature, tradition, and contemporary food philosophy.
On July 17, join us at ZUNA Restaurant, Hotel Gela, for an evening where every dish tells a story, and every bite is a journey through the senses.
We are honored to welcome Chef Veselin Kalev, Executive Chef at Zornitza Family Estate Relais & Châteaux and a member of the prestigious JRE (Jeunes Restaurateurs) association.
His culinary journey began at Hilton Sofia under the mentorship of Chef Andre Tokev, followed by years of experience in Michelin-starred kitchens across Germany, including the renowned Burg Wernberg with Chef Thomas Kellermann.
Chef Kalev’s philosophy combines deep respect for terroir with an innovative approach to traditional cuisine, turning every plate into a work of art.
The evening will be complemented by a curated selection of wines from Zornitza Family Estate, located in the sun-drenched Melnik region, where tradition meets abundance.
With 17 grape varieties cultivated on their estate, Zornitza crafts expressive wines with depth and character. Each glass is chosen to naturally extend the flavor of Chef Kalev’s creations.
