GENERAL TERMS FOR ONLINE RESERVATIONS ON THE WEBSITE OF HOTEL GELA
SIGNING A CONTRACT
The contract is considered concluded upon confirmation of the reservation by Hotel Gela, as well as payment by the client. The definition of “Guest(s)” includes all individual names on the booking form and/or reservation taken by business customers, company or corporate entities. “Accommodation” includes the Chalet and any part of the hotel or other premises provided for that purpose. “Hotel Gela” includes the company Vinara EOOD with EIC BG130717699, with headquarters and address of management: Gela village, Gela hotel, MALL: Petko Nikolov.
By making an online reservation, you confirm and accept the current general terms and conditions of Hotel Gela for booking, terms, cancellation, non-use, etc., namely:
RESERVATION AND ACCOMMODATION
Hotel Gela undertakes to ensure the use of the services requested and paid for by the client on an online reservation according to the data provided by the client through the reservation form for: client’s name, period, number of nights, number of adults and children, regular and extra beds, price for overnight stay.
In the reservation, children up to 1.9 years old on the date of arrival are accepted as infants. In the reservation, guests between the ages of 2 years and 11.9 years, on the date of arrival, are accepted as children. A guest who has reached the age of 12 on the date of check-in is considered an adult.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
The prices on the Gela Hotel website are in BGN (BGN), including 9% VAT, tourist tax and insurance. The total amount payable by the customer for the reservation is calculated automatically, depending on the number of days, the number of adults and children, and the current price offer for the relevant period.
The reservation made through the online reservation portal is GUARANTEED with a 50% advance payment.
Please note that reservations are not considered guaranteed without a 50% advance payment and guests will not be accommodated.
Hotel Gela reserves the right to change prices and special offers on its website.
For already made, confirmed and paid reservations, the amount due does not change, regardless of the new price offers presented.
TYPES OF PAYMENTS
Prices on the Gela Hotel website are in BGN (BGN), including 9% VAT, tourist tax and insurance. The total amount payable by the customer for the reservation is calculated automatically, depending on the number of days, the number of adults and children, and the selected current price offer for the relevant period.
We require fifty percent of the reservation payment to be made prior to guests arrival. Prepayment is made to the following bank account:

Payment is made electronically with a debit or credit card through a virtual POS terminal or by bank transfer. We accept payments with Visa, Visa Electron, V Pay, MasterCard, MasterCard Electronic or Maestro cards.
When choosing this payment method, you construct the reservation yourself and manage the payment process for it in the online reservation portal of the Gela Hotel website.
After you have created and confirmed the reservation and proceeded to its payment, the BORICA payment page opens. The payment screen is located in BORICA’s 3-D Secure environment, ensuring full protection of the data that the customer enters. On this screen, the customer enters the data from his card – type of card, number, validity period and CVV2/CVC2 code. For cards requiring additional 3-D authentication where you are enrolled in the Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode authentication schemes, an authentication page of your Issuing bank opens where you enter your authentication password.
In order to be able to use your debit card for online payments, you need to activate this service and receive your secret code to use in your online payments. You can activate it at any ATM in the BORICA network.
The steps to activate your service and receive your secret code are:
Step 1: Insert your card into the ATM. Select “Other services”.
Step 2: Select the “Pay via Internet” option from the ATM menu.
Step 3. Select “BORICA Secret Code” from the ATM menu.
Step 4: A message about the successful generation of your secret code appears on the ATM screen.
On the receipt that will be printed for you, you will find the secret code you need for online payments with your debit card.
Important: At no time during the creation of the reservation, payment or after payment, the Merchant does not have access to the cardholder’s card details.
In the case of a successful transaction, a transaction note is displayed on the screen, which you must print and keep.
At the time of online booking, the mentioned amounts will be automatically withdrawn from your card at the end of the payment process.
After successful payment of the value of the created reservation, you will receive a confirmation number and parameters of your guaranteed reservation. After receiving the amount in the bank accounts of Hotel Gela, you will be sent a confirmation letter accompanied by an original invoice for the payment made by e-mail.

Payment can be made in two ways:
Electronically with a debit or credit card
When requesting to pay for a reservation by credit or debit card without using the Virtual POS terminal service, an authorization form will be sent to the customer along with the offer. By filling in, signing and sending the authorization form, the Customer gives his consent to the use of the card data (number, CVC code) to withdraw the amount specified in the reservation.
Upon successful withdrawal of the amount, you will receive an invoice for advance payment, a receipt for the payment made, confirmation of a guaranteed reservation.
Important! Reservations where the person making the reservation has specified a foreign debit/credit card on the authorization form will not be accepted. If the booking party is unable to provide their own debit/credit card to guarantee their prepaid booking, they can pay via the virtual POS terminal in the online booking module of the hotel website or make a bank transfer.
For reservations where the person making the reservation is different from the user of the reservation, advance payment through a physical POS terminal without a card is not accepted. In these cases, we recommend that customers pay for their stay in advance through the virtual POS terminal in the online booking module of the hotel website or by bank transfer.
When booking with a start date the next day and in cases where there are no more than three days between the date of booking and the date of check-in, we advise you to use the option to book and pay for your stay directly through our online booking portal, which will speed up the process of accepting, processing, confirming and guaranteeing your reservation.
Bank transfer
If you choose this payment method, you will be sent a proforma invoice with details of the Gela Hotel’s bank account. After making a bank transfer, you need to send a copy of the payment order or deposit slip to e-mail: office@hotelgela.com, and you must enter the offer number as the reason for payment.
Upon successful payment of the value of the reservation under the offer, you will receive an invoice for advance payment and confirmation of the guaranteed reservation.
Hotel Gela reserves the right to change prices. The invoiced price is fully guaranteed and is not subject to change.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
Hotel Gela reserves the right to charge, withhold and demand from customers all amounts for penalties for canceled, changed or prematurely terminated reservations, according to the published cancellation conditions:
Cancellation by the customer:
Any cancellation must be made in writing. In case of cancellation, the following penalties apply:
Up to 14 days before arrival – no penalty is due and the prepaid amount is refunded.
In case of cancellation of the reservation from 2 to 14 days before check-in, we will provide a voucher for the transferred amount.
In case of late cancellation (1 day before check-in) or no-show, we reserve the right to keep the deposit in full.
For festive periods such as Christmas, New Year, national holidays, you can cancel a minimum of 30 days before the day of check-in with a 100% refund of the deposit. In the event that you have not met the required cancellation period, we reserve the right to retain the entire prepaid deposit.
In the event that guests wish to leave earlier than the requested period, we reserve the right to deduct the remaining amount of the reservation (until the end of the stay) as a penalty.
Cancellation of the reservation by the owner:
The Manager reserves the right to cancel your booking as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control, which include, force majeure, war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activities, acts of government, natural or nuclear disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire, or other similar events.
IRREVOCABLE FORCE-FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party to the reservation contract shall be liable to the other party if its performance is prevented by force majeure which the party concerned could not reasonably foresee and the consequences of which are beyond its control (except for the settlement of payments), which includes without limitation natural disasters, acts of war, strikes, epidemics, earthquake, fire, flood, government decisions. Damages caused by force majeure shall be borne by the party to this Agreement to which they are caused. The two parties to the Agreement undertake joint actions to reduce the negative consequences resulting from the occurrence of force majeure circumstances.
Changes to reservation details are only accepted in writing.
Your booking does not include travel insurance. Hotel Gela strongly recommends that all members of the group secure one.
OTHER TERMS
Arrival and departure:
The room(s) are/are available after 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out time is until 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out are possible depending on hotel availability, but only after prior arrangement and confirmation by the manager.
Please, if you have any questions about check-in and change of hours, please contact a member of staff who will assist you with information. In cases of force majeure that require early departure, it is necessary to notify us in advance.
Delays:
The hotel management is not responsible for any delay, before arrival, as well as during the holiday, caused by phenomena, acts, actions or omissions occurring in the area of the place of accommodation or outside it, such as strikes, military-political conflicts, acts of terrorism, natural disasters, acts of war, fire, earthquake, flood, government bans, acts and other force majeure circumstances.
Hotel guests should protect the hotel property, equipment and structure, undertake not to disturb the comfort of other guests or damage the prestige and name of the owner. Guests who do not comply with the hotel’s general policy may be forced to leave the hotel without refund of pre-paid amounts.
Lost and stolen items:
The hotel is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal belongings of guests inside or outside the hotel.
Food and drinks:
In accordance with the regulations in force in the country, it is prohibited to bring food and drinks by guests and visitors into the hotel territory.
Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and in all indoor areas of the hotel.
Children:
We are not responsible for accidents that occur within the hotel, it is the responsibility of parents to keep children under supervision at all times. For small children, an earlier dinner can be requested – it is important for us to be of help to parents.
Highchairs are available for families with children. On request, we also offer a baby cot for children.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed.
Other guests:
The owner reserves the right to have other guests in the hotel, except in cases where the entire hotel is booked.
Complaints:
If you have cause for complaint or complaint, you should raise it with the manager or a member of staff as soon as possible so that we can take the necessary action in a timely manner.
Feedback is valuable – if at the end of your holiday, you think there are unsatisfactory aspects, report them to the Hotel Management in writing.
We will try our best to solve any problem.
Work time:
– The restaurant operates by reservation only. Opening hours: from 08:30 AM to 12:00 AM. The restaurant is closed between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Breakfast is served from 08:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
– Relaxation area – only if requested by guests, at least 2 hours in advance.
Services:
Rental at preferential prices of: ski equipment, snowboards, snowmobiles, bicycles, motorbikes.
Possibility of assistance regarding excursions and hikes to the most remarkable places of the region with a mountain guide, instructor.
Horseback riding.
For folklore lovers, the hotel organizes the participation of performers from the local folklore group.
Wireless internet is provided in the rooms and common areas of the hotel.

The management of the “Gela & Spa” hotel is not responsible for circumstances beyond its control – lack of snow, interruption of electricity, water, etc.
