Gela hotel presents:

MENU XIV

all the food, withouth the fuss

19 february I 8:00P.M.

An upcoming evening from The MENU series – a collection of exclusive fine-dining events where chefs tell stories not through words, but through taste.

This evening is a meeting point between culinary art and the Rhodope Mountains – an авторial tasting menu created especially for Hotel Gela, where each course reveals its own story.

GUEST CHEFs

Veselin Boykinov

Veselin Boykinov is a chef with a clear philosophy and strong presence – his cuisine is rooted in local, seasonal ingredients and close collaboration with small farms and local producers.

Soon, Veselin will launch his new project ZEMYA – Terroir Cuisine by Tipchenitza, located in the village of Tipchenitza – a space dedicated to terroir, seasonality, and the relationship between food and place.
The concept includes tasting menus, work with small farms and producers, a private winery, and wine tastings – a complete experience that cannot be described with words, only lived.

In 2025, Veselin received two BiorestBest awards:
– 1st place by Michelin inspectors
– 3rd place by culinary critics

Sourdough Bread & Easter Bread Workshop

Stanislava Kuneva is the creator of “Hlyab & Soul” – a project through which she establishes sourdough bread as a living process, a ritual, and a return to the fundamentals.

During our special weekend, Stanislava will lead a workshop focused on sourdough bread and traditional Easter bread – a practical and sensory experience.

Participants will explore the philosophy behind slow fermentation, learn essential techniques, and experience how bread transforms from a recipe into a dialogue between human, nature, and time.

Wreath-Making Workshop

We also invite you to a wreath-making workshop using natural materials, led by Elitsa – a creator with a refined sense of form, rhythm, and the beauty of nature. Her work is deeply connected to the forest and the seasons, to those subtle details that evoke a feeling of home and quiet.

Under her guidance, you will create your own wreath using materials gathered from the forest – branches, pinecones, dried plants, and natural textures.
The process is calm, intuitive, and accessible, regardless of prior experience.

The finished wreaths will be carefully wrapped, so you can take them with you as a memory of the weekend and as a small gesture carrying the warmth of handmade creation and connection to nature.

Fine-Dining Weekend

The dinner is accompanied by a tasting of specially selected wines, followed by a DJ set – a natural continuation of the culinary journey.
