

The National Astronomical Observatory (NAO) Rozhen is the largest astronomical observatory on the Balkan Peninsula and in Southeast Europe. It is an ideal place for young explorers, and anyone interested in learning more about the secrets of the Universe.
Visit schedule at NAO Rozhen:
Daytime visits: conducted in groups of 6 to 25 people and the Observatory operates on all public holidays.
Daytime visits do not include telescope observations.
Evening visits: night observations with a 30 cm telescope are offered for a group of 4 or more people upon request (at least one day in advance) and suitable weather conditions. (Not recommended for children under 7)
Night observations are not conducted from October 1 to April 30.
