This February, Hotel Gela presents an evening where time-honored food preservation methods intertwine with modern culinary artistry.

Anton Vasev

A pioneer in the field of fermentation in Bulgaria and founder of SO ferments. His passion for traditional fermentation techniques, combined with modern cooking, makes him one of the most intriguing creators in contemporary Bulgarian cuisine. Through his work, he reimagines our understanding of fermentation processes, creating unique products that bridge ancient preservation methods with innovative culinary approaches. His expertise has established him as a respected figure in Bulgaria’s culinary arts, where he continues to explore and expand the possibilities of fermentation.

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable culinary experience where fermentation takes center stage. This special evening will feature an innovative menu created by Chef Anton Vasev, with fermented products playing a leading role. The majority of these ingredients will be provided by our partners at Обединени Ферми.

For wine enthusiasts, we have prepared a special Better Half wine selection that perfectly complements the evening’s flavors.

The following day, we invite you to join us for a casual brunch, also prepared by Chef Anton Vasev.
